Zhing, my second younger sis is always the first birthday girl in every year. She likes Japanese food a lot, prior the birthday dinner, she has chosen  a classy Japanese restaurant at Old Klang Road, where she found it in the internet, recommended by her friend. I made reservation for table of 5 tonight at 7.30pm and she already bought her birthday cake from Secret Recipe.

The moment we stepped into the restaurant, the interior design amazed us and we were seated in a private room, which is good for having privacy. The food in the menu is pricey as we expected, but we still have to order right? :P

What a mess new year we have here :)

Yes, we just came back from China this morning (12am) and it was such a fun trip! After coming back from a trip, it’s gonna be very very headache to sort out the clothes and souvenirs. I can’t really help much, all the chores are done my great mum! She can sort things out efficiently where we just enjoy the comfort out of it. Thanks mum! You must be very tired~

Well, this was my first time ever in my 24-years life donating my blood. Since my company was organizing blood donation event, why not give it a try?

I planned to attend the event after lunch time, so… This morning, I ate my breakfast as usual, and this afternoon, I ate my lunch as well, to make sure that blood sugar level at stable condition so that I won’t get fainted after drawing out blood. I was quite afraid and nervous ><

Many of my colleagues and ex-colleagues from D5 were joining this event, not bad :P The time has come, we all headed to West Entrane where the event was held. First, donators were asked to fill in forms, test blood pressure, test blood type and get a small bucket of necessities, step by step. We all went inside and laid down on the provided chair. I put my left hand on the arm rest, waiting for nurse to come to draw my blood. Every nurse was so busy, so my turn was quite late compared to other colleagues’.

When it was my turn, I tried to loosen up my muscles and calm down my tension. The nurse took quite some time to find the right vein of mine.

My blood flowed so slow… -_- All my colleagues had done withdrawing and my blood bag still haven’t fill up to 300ml. I was being teased that I lack of exercises, that’s the reason my blood didn’t flow rapidly, haha~ I also found out that the for guys, they need to withdraw 450ml whereas gals, we need to withdraw 300ml.

OK… I was the last among my colleagues, I know -.- I was a bit puzzled after getting up from the chair and walked also a bit imbalance, luckily there’s a desk providing energy drink and bread. When every procedure has done, we all went back to our work station to continue working. I also consumed the pills given by the event. Some more after working I still got yoga session. Today was such a tiring day for me…

I’m quite happy for what I have done today because donating blood is so meaningful. I also get the chance to rebuild my blood cell :D Hrm… Should’ve done this long time ago >< I admit that my blood is pretty healthy, hopefully my blood will be useful for needy people out there ^^

My last Halloween event is when I was in UK, organized by my university during year 2006. I was kinda regret why I don’t buy a bunch of Halloween costumes in UK before coming back to Malaysia >< It’s so hard to find those in KL. Well, luckily I brought back a ‘ciplak’ devil wing, better than none though :P

I’m quite curious and would like to find out how’s the Halloween Event in KL. The chance has come! Mix FM is organizing  a Halloween Party themed Jet’aime Zombie (I Love You) at Mist Club, Bangsar. I was wondering if I’m able to attend or not after seeing this special page at Mix FM. Yesterday, I was happened to bump into William and he invited all of us from Ad Solutions Team to attend this party, I’m pretty interested! To show his sincerity, he’s willing to give out VIP tickets. In this case, I wouldn’t miss the chance!

I tried to invite most of my old friends but only 1 entertained me, the rest like not really interested or got their own plans. So… After coming back from KL around 7pm, I quickly ran to my room and started my make-up project. Sigh… If only my sister is here to help me with the make-ups =( I tried to learn from her and applied the technique on my face. Halloween’s theme is meant to be a mess, therefore I don’t really care the trial and error :P I smoked my eyes, darkened my eye brows and etc. I wanted to have more extreme makeup but I can’t just couldn’t do it, it’s so not me! Haha~

It took me around 1 hour to make up, set the hair, wear ‘costumes’. What am I playing? A devil? A maid? A lolita? Wakarimasen ><” It’s quite on time where I already set the time 8.45pm for my friend to fetch me from home :D After I got into his car, he asked me for the direction and I paused a while, haha~ Coz I thought he knows the location, then he turned back to my house and I quickly printed out the map and wrote down the address. We went there from Mid Valley. It took us a while to find the route and got lost, but still managed to reach there :D The parking fees outside Mist Club is RM10, wtf!

It’s quite embarrassed for me to appeal myself in other way, but after we registered ourselves at registration counter and saw people around us, I don’t think that I’m special enough, it’s way too ordinary! :P The time we arrived was still quite early (9.30pm), that’s why not many people inside. We ordered our drinks and sit at the corner, chat and observe around.

As the night getting young, the event started and the place was getting more crowded. Mix FM DJs Pietro, Sham, Roshan and  Jay were at the stage hosting the event.

Throughout the event, there were marshmallow + chili sauce eating competition, MJ’s dancing, lucky draws and prizes giving session for best dressed male and female. Both winners for best dressed were Cat Woman (female) and Joker (male) which is from Batman, how ironic >< Sigh… I got no luck to win the prizes during lucky draw session. We were approached to take photos too, how I wish to get the photos from them, coz my digicam is sux taking indoor shots -_-

We went upstairs to rest and enjoyed the ’smoky’ place until around 12am, we decided to left the place as there’s nothing special anymore. Mix FM’s event is over and the place was like getting… TOO crowded. It’s better to leave as soon as possible, haha~ Some more my friend has cough, the place is no longer suitable for us to stay >< Sigh… I thought I would know some new friends there tim~ :P

As we left, there were so many cars coming in. Everyone will surely come to this kind of place after 12am, the most happening hour in clubs and pubs. Thanks SV for the ride and your presence! :D

Since I hardly wear this kind of costume in my life time, it would be better for me to take some portrait shots before I removed everything. Xien was my ‘photographer’, thanks a lot! Lol~

See you next year, Halloween!

Yes, this is my first in my life, after living for 24 years. I’m not born to have sports talent and I’m not an active person when I was young. I have started my yoga session 8 months ago and this has become my starting point to build-up my endurance before moving forward. Due to my surrounding influence, especially my colleagues, I started my running program by taking part in Mizuno Wave Run. Why don’t I give myself a try right? Well, I would say that yoga really makes the difference and changed my perspective towards sports.

After registering myself to Mizuno Wave Run, I started to have jogging session at Bukit Jalil Park. After my last jog 8 months ago with my dad, I was dismotivated. That time I haven’t started my yoga session also. At least for now, MWR becomes my motivation and I have the will to jog ^^

I started my running program 1 month before the run every weekend and bought myself branded equipments to boost my confidence although I barely can afford. MWR also made me like to shop around in sports department which I don’t really like last time since there’s no such need. But nowadays I like to look for nice sports attire so much!

The day before the run, which was yesterday, I can only jog fore 2 laps, not even 2km, then I started to hesitate whether I have the ability to run tomorrow. I’m not mentally and physically ready yet. I was so pressurized by struggling with dilemma. But some how I attended the run, I wouldn’t now unless I try.

This morning, I saw soooo many people. They all look so professional to me, that even made me getting stressed. I was so confusing to the direction upon arrival, it’s my first run after all :P Luckily there’s ‘locker’ service provided so I left my bag there and took out my towel and iPod nano. I met all my colleagues there too.

The run almost started, we all assembled on the track of the stadium behind the starting point. I can see ‘yellow river’ as the vest we wore is striking yellow. I was so nervous and worried. I couldn’t listen to the gunshot but I saw people in front of me already run and started my 10km journey, an uncertain journey which might lead me to success or despair… The fate is in my hand.

Everyone seemed to be well-prepared. After a distance of run, my stamina’s telling me to stop but my legs just kept running. Even I couldn’t run, I would walk. I cannot afford to stop while everyone around me was overtaking me and I don’t want to be the last one! Hehe~ 1km, 2km…. It’s 5km where there’s drink station for us runners. I can see the ‘light of hope’, I’m so dying for water to quench my thirstiness and restore body dehydration. I drank 4 small cups of water one shot. Ah… I made it for 5km already, there’re 5km to go!

Still running…

As the distance getting far, I was getting exhausted, walking more than running already. I couldn’t force myself to run anymore although I wanted to. I’m so worried that my body system would ’shut down’ out of the sudden. I never force my body over the limit not until this run. Sweats kept flowing like river and hot, it’s soooo unbearable. Don’t care! Just run!

7km… 8km……. It’s 10km!!! OMG! I couldn’t believe it! After 10km, we still need to run to UPM’s stadium to pass through finishing line. I thought it will be easy but there’s a very steep hill before entering the main gate of the campus. the toughest of all man… It’s a nightmare! Finished the stupid hill, saw the finishing line just not so far away. I used all my remaining strength and dashed towards the finishing line, I just wanted to end this run as fast as I could even though my legs’ muscles started to get cramped at the same time. The moment I passed the line, I received a ’small cardboard’ written ’shoe bag & goodies bag’, I finally made it! The feeling is just cannot describe by words.

I quickly ran to drink stations where got watermelons, Revive, Milo and ice-cream. The first bite of watermelon just like went to ‘ heaven’ a few seconds to me, haha~ I’m so dying of water again. I kept drinking until so full, then only collect goodies bag. I sms-ed papa about my achievement too ^^ Hangout around with colleagues a while then we went to Cheras’ Oldtown Kopitiam for brunch.

I have made my way to break my record and exceed my limit in order to finish the run, it’s my first run! I thought I will give up half way or met obstacles along the run. I really want to thank my family and colleagues who gave me encouragement and support. Hopefully this ’spirit’ towards sports will continue burning in me and make it better and better. What an unforgettable experience in my life!

Healthy people will get sick once in a while, at least twice a year, like me XP  I forgot when was my last sick but if not mistaken, it’s 1/2 year ago since I joined Astro, I only took 1 day (1/2 + 1/2) MC for the time being. Of course I don’t wish to have sick all the time, it’s very unbearable you know? MC also meant to have more rest and recover from sick so that one could have more energy to strive in working environment. For me, I would take this opportunity to get more rest coz I know that I always sleep late nowadays, haha~ :P

I got running nose, then I took leave to nearby panel clinic called Kumpulan City Poliklinik for consultation and medicine, just normal flu but I asked doctor to give me fever as well as cough medicine even though I haven’t got yet, and also 2 days leaves,  just in case.

I returned to my home sweet home and had ‘mee sua’ for lunch.

And… I have to wear mask at home in order not to spread the germs around because I’m the only who’s sick at home >< Well… This is my first time wearing mask for such a long hour though X(

My medicine has to be consumed after meal, so after that I had my rest until late evening, which is around 7.30pm. I found myself with heaty body. I haven’t consumed fever medicine yet with serious sore throat. Well… Just as I expected. Nose and throat are linked so if either one got infected sure will affect the other.

I had sesame + oat bread for my dinner while watching AOD. Then only had my medicine again and rest…

Colleagues asked me to bring my Bumblebee after they saw it in Mobypicture that I uploaded after receiving it. Lolz!!! Well… Here it is!

I unboxed it carefully so that the box won’t be torn. Obviously I’m very amateur to this kind of toys, need some help from colleagues though :P

Shukri has one too, but he’s is smaller and older, keke!

This morning, when I was watching Mary Go Round in JiaYu TV, waiting for the news featuring Urbanscapes,  I saw Mary was introducing Dooodolls and the creator himself, how unexpected, saw him at Urbanscapes too :D I was bit disappointed as I thought I could see if I got on the TV or not :P I some more prepared camera to capture Urbanscapes’ interview, wuahaha~ I should stay tuned next week again ^^”

Okay, it’s lunch time! We all get prepared to go out for lunch, this time we’re going far, somewhere in KL, wuahaha~ We’re going to a dumpling shop, recommended by our yoga instructor. It’s located at Jalan Pudu, called Restoran Kar Long. Damn! I should have brought my DSLR to take photos! Blaming Xien for not telling me in advanced coz I thought we would go somewhere nearby to have lunch… *pif* I end up using my C702 to take, quality not that good but better than none right? Hehe~

Today’s Astro On Demand showing the last 3 episodes for The Threshold Of A Persona 《ID 精英》 for premiere, damn excited! First time watching 3 episodes straight from 8.30pm to 10.45pm with family!! Wuahaha~

Finally I made up my mind for not going to Japanese class instead due to the strong enthusiast towards this creative art festival. Well… To be frank, I couldn’t be left out from my colleagues’ gang where I bet there will be lots of photo shoots during this event :P I was thinking to attend Urbanscapes and Japanese class together but both places are way too far the distance and the transportation is very troublesome. Yesterday night I cracked my head to think of 2 perfect methods but I can’t do it… Just give it a shot!

I checked the location of Urbanscapes at home and the nearest LRT station is Sentul Timur. There will be shuttle service  to bring us (visitors) to the place, only for that day. The earliest shuttle was 11.45pm and the second one would be 12.25pm, some more I departed quite late. We actually have planned to met up a 12.30pm. From Seri Petaling to Sentul Timur took less than 1/2 hour and I managed to reach there… on time! Hehe~ When I was so desperately thinking how’s after reaching, I saw Alice outside the station with other people, I assumed that they’re waiting for shuttle to come, together with her sister. Luckily I met someone I know during that time. She said she had been waiting for the shuttle quite a long time but seemed not coming, she then called Shukri if he’s convenient to fetch us as he’s living nearby. Woohoo~ Shukri’s car can forcefully fit 3 of us yet there’s 3 person in the car already, himself, Irene and Shukri’s sister :P So I ‘tumpang’ his ‘wind ride’~ At least I wasn’t alone that time ^^

Reached there around 1pm. Shukri parked his car quite far away from the venue so we had to walk under the hot sun. Anyway, thanks the comfortable ride, Shukri :D

Of course we were nervous and didn’t know what to talk in front of the camera. Seriuosly, this was my first time being interviewed :P Can’t wait to stay tuned on this channel for Mary Go Round.

Wah~ We stayed at cafeteria for a long time, coz got sofas and air-cond, damn comfortable! OK, I need to think how am I going to go back afterwards? As long as someone could send me to LRT station then it would be nice :) I tried to call Jason but couldn’t reach him, so I tried to ask Rames, he’s willing to! My life savour! :D We stayed a while because they need to social with other bloggers, see how famous they are :P Miimo left but Sook Rong wanted to stay here until her BF came.

Rames sent me to Sentul station and thanks for the ride ya ^^ I never go from the start to the end point of LRT route, now I really experienced it! It’s so comfortable along the journey until I reached Seri Petaling. Mum was the one who fetched me from the station, thanks again! I really appreciate those who gave me helping hands for my day, otherwise I couldn’t make it and I don’t feel regretful for not attending Japanese class :D Wee~

Daddy was not around during daytime as he went to his hometown to oversee renovation. In the afternoon, 4 of us (Mum, me, Wei and bro) went to Ying Jia Restaurant to have simple lunch. Wei would be going back to Singapore later at 4pm. After the quick lunch, we rushed back home so that Wei got more time to pack her stuffs. Before she left, I ‘forced’ her to write something on Father’s Day card as I already wrote on Mother’s Day card, haha~ :P This time she’s going to the Puduraya station by LRT herself to avoid traffic jam and lateness after the lesson she learned last time, clever liao…

Dad had returned quite late… Around 9pm… We all were so hungry… Then we went to a restaurant nearby to have our dinner. Some how Father’s Day needs to be celebrated on actual day although we already had yesterday, right? I suggested to buy a cake, then Dad drove us to Baker’s Cottage and bought a small Black Forest, luckily the bakery shop was still opened for business.
