Finally I made up my mind for not going to Japanese class instead due to the strong enthusiast towards this creative art festival. Well… To be frank, I couldn’t be left out from my colleagues’ gang where I bet there will be lots of photo shoots during this event :P I was thinking to attend Urbanscapes and Japanese class together but both places are way too far the distance and the transportation is very troublesome. Yesterday night I cracked my head to think of 2 perfect methods but I can’t do it… Just give it a shot!

I checked the location of Urbanscapes at home and the nearest LRT station is Sentul Timur. There will be shuttle service  to bring us (visitors) to the place, only for that day. The earliest shuttle was 11.45pm and the second one would be 12.25pm, some more I departed quite late. We actually have planned to met up a 12.30pm. From Seri Petaling to Sentul Timur took less than 1/2 hour and I managed to reach there… on time! Hehe~ When I was so desperately thinking how’s after reaching, I saw Alice outside the station with other people, I assumed that they’re waiting for shuttle to come, together with her sister. Luckily I met someone I know during that time. She said she had been waiting for the shuttle quite a long time but seemed not coming, she then called Shukri if he’s convenient to fetch us as he’s living nearby. Woohoo~ Shukri’s car can forcefully fit 3 of us yet there’s 3 person in the car already, himself, Irene and Shukri’s sister :P So I ‘tumpang’ his ‘wind ride’~ At least I wasn’t alone that time ^^

Reached there around 1pm. Shukri parked his car quite far away from the venue so we had to walk under the hot sun. Anyway, thanks the comfortable ride, Shukri :D

When we were strolling around, we got approached by JiaYu TV’s reporter and cameraman, requested for a short interview regarding this event. Of course we were nervous and didn’t know what to talk in front of the camera. Seriuosly, this was my first time being interviewed :P Can’t wait to stay tuned on this channel for Mary Go Round.

After the interview, we went inside for more exposures. We met our college’s lectures there and they’re selling their Oh-and-Ah’s merchandise. Their merchandise were so cute and tempting to buy but a bit overpriced, for me :P

This spot is ‘hot’. Hot as in lots of people like to take photos at this spot because of the unique arrangement of ‘Urbanscapes’ alphabets on the ground with lots of colourful balloons. We later also got took photos here :P

Wah~ We stayed at cafeteria for a long time, coz got sofas and air-cond, damn comfortable! OK, I need to think how am I going to go back afterwards? As long as someone could send me to LRT station then it would be nice :) I tried to call Jason but couldn’t reach him, so I tried to ask Rames, he’s willing to! My life savour! :D We stayed a while because they need to social with other bloggers, see how famous they are :P Miimo left but Sook Rong wanted to stay here until her BF came.

Rames sent me to Sentul station and thanks for the ride ya ^^ I never go from the start to the end point of LRT route, now I really experienced it! It’s so comfortable along the journey until I reached Seri Petaling. Mum was the one who fetched me from the station, thanks again! I really appreciate those who gave me helping hands for my day, otherwise I couldn’t make it and I don’t feel regretful for not attending Japanese class :D Wee~

Received SMS from Kok Leong few days ago to go out yumcha at 吹吹水, Kuchai Lama at. He said Hong Cheong has come back from Singapore and we can hang out with him before he goes back tomorrow.

After fetching Ee Ying and Seen Mun, we headed to the place and only saw 2 guys, Kok Leong and Hong Cheong. They were having their meal while waiting for the rest to come. We ordered our drinks and began our ?? session.

It’s been a great moments being together again after the last gathering. I guess there will be a lot more gatherings coming up! Stay tuned~

Today was the last day for the fiesta and I didn’t miss it! I almost ‘missed’ it due to the hesitation but still I made up my mind going there to have an eye-opening as this is also the first-held in Malaysia.

In the afternoon, supposingly I will meet Richard at 3.30pm at Puchong, but when I was waiting for the time to pass, suddenly I received Jason’s call saying that he will fetch me within 20 minutes. I quickly get prepared and rushed like hell. When I opened my gate, I can’t see him around yet he said he’s already arrived, so I assumed that he went to the wrong street but same house plate number and it really was XD Okok… We then went to Petronas’ McD to meet Rames and Jennifer, we had our lunch there and off we go!

This was also my first time ‘using’ the new highway heading to Putrajaya/Cyberjaya, it’s just as straight as a pencil and we had already arrived. There were lots of people there already to witness the meaningful event although the balloon-fun-fly will start 6pm, yet we already there to enjoy suffer from the scorching sun. The area is very opened and not many shelters available, luckily I brought umbrella and towel. Since we got nothing to do, we bought our own balloon to take photos around after seeing Jennifer bought her Hello Kitty one :D We went to the place out of the event compound and start cam-whoring, LOL… No doubt, 3 of them took superb photos but mine only so-so =( I know… they have DSLR with so many lenses, I’m so jealous after seeing the result *pif* DAMN NICE LOH! The cloud was so clear and blue as well!

After a while, Richard had finally came and he joined us. We went back under the stupid hot sun to find place to shelter and buy drinks. Sigh… We have so many hours to waste just to wait until 6pm -_-

All we can do was seeing the paramotor flying around above us.

When the time has finally come, we used our Astro passes to gain permission going in to take photos while others only able to see from far behind the fence. There were so many photographers busy taking photos when the participants were busy setting up the balloon.

What I can do is drooling over people’s camera and just take whatever I could without bothering the stupid quality of the outcome.

Many balloons were successfully flying up to the sky, wee~~ The view was a totally amazing as if we were located at USA where got similar event like this. The colors of the hot balloon were so vibrant and distinctive too. Hrm… I wonder where the hot air balloon will go and where the ‘passangers’ will land (many question marks on my head). Argh… I must come here again next year with my ‘geng’ camera already! I don’t care!

It was an extremely hot day but thank God for granting us good weather with hot and clear sky for the entire day. Thanks to Richard, Rames, Jason and Jennifer for being there to make a great day together. After all, this was my first time joining “siao gang’ photography session and I really learned a lot from them. Thankies!

Today was second last day for Angie Tan, who had been serving AMP for 6+ years has to say goodbye to us =( Therefore, we’re going to have a farewell party at Mid Valley 1 Utama. This time, superiors from AMP and Digital5 (Radio Department) were going to treat us with ‘expensive’ meal again :D

The time has come and most of us went there with their own cars except me, who’s unwiling to drive will tag along with Danny. He said going together is better than going alone, no companion along the journey will get bored. At least, we had pleasant conversation, but too bad he’s leaving D5 soon =( We found parking space and rushed to TGI Fridays. When we reached there, we only saw Rames and Alvin, so we’re considered early :D

The waiter led us to our reserved seats and I was surprised with our reserved compound, the arrangement looked so ‘grand’ to me, lol~

More and more people were coming in and at the same time we choose our meals and drinks.

Those who got pro-looking camera were busy taking photos and I have to hide my small compact camera inside my bag, can’t fight with them though, haha~ Those without carrying camera will be ‘models’ for ‘photographers’. Photos with poses definitely look better than natural one, for me, I would say :P

Our food came out slowly and we were so hungry and this is mine. I forgot what’s the name for this ><

When we almost finished our meal, it’s time to celebrate Angie’s Farewell (officially). Fridays’ tradition, the main character of the occasion ought to stand on the chair, the waiters and waitress will tease her and sing song. “Happy Resignation to you, Happy Resignation to you…” That’s so funny XD Junior is like an ‘atmosphere-maker” as he made lots of laughters and nonsence, haha~

Throughout the meal, I learned to know more content editors and I finally met Ross! Well, I really enjoy having great time with my colleagues, the time spending with them is priceless, and it’s rare to have chance treated by superiors you see ^^

It’s already 10.30pm and almost everyone had left, so Danny and me also left Fridays. We reached TPM around 11.10pm and Danny dropped me beside my car. Thanks for the ride, Danny! ^^ And then, I reached home safely around 11.30pm and I’m so tired! Tomorrow need to work also T_T

Hopefully there will be more outings with colleagues so that we can create lots of memorable moments by taking photos :D

As we planned yesterday, today we went to Uncle Ong’s house for a visit. The moment we entered the housing estate (Gita Bayu), me and my siblings were surprised by the environment, a resort-like estate with lots of rubber trees and every bungalows are uniquely designed without the gates as the area is well-guarded by security.

Right after we came out from the car, my dad couldn’t stop talking with uncle already and my mum surely looking for Aunty Ong for conversation. We siblings just follow their behind and admiring the big house. What I like the most is the private swimming pool!

It was almost 2pm and it’s time for us to leave already. It’s been an eye-opening for me to see such a great interior and architecture design.

As it’s nearby Serdang, my dad suggested to go to the restaurant which I mentioned – Yuk Heng Claypot Lou Shu Fun. Yeah! Finally can bring them to the place that I went with my colleagues XD

My dad was so exciting and want to bring us to Cheras’ site called The Cirrus to view showhouse that his company participates in this construction project which has almost the same architecture design as Uncle Ong’s. The interior design is so astonishing, I would say simple and nice. The show house also has swimming pool, awww… Most rooms are not totally made in pure bricks. My dad said the trend nowadays is based on Zen, light-weight, black & white, clear as windows are widely used and the roof top is flat unlike houses that we always see. Argh… I really hope to modernize our house but my dad sure won’t :P

After visiting the bungalows, we went back home. Around 6pm, my dad taught my sis driving a manual Kembara around the area as she’s going to have her driving test on coming Tuesday. It’s so funny to see both of them in the car, makes me recall my past, haha~

Thanks Mr. Fam who ‘distributed’ the entrance tickets for us Chinese colleagues who’re interested to go. Thanks Irene for sparing her own 2 tickets to me as she can’t make the trip to Genting Highlands. That makes 4 tickets and Phaik Ee’s 2 friends can join both of us, otherwise we got no transport to Genting Highlands and the ticket might remain unused :P

I was so excited during that day coz finally able to go to Genting Highlands after a few years :D In the afternoon, my mum made a whole tray of pizza and cooked mushroom soup but I only grabbed a few to eat only, haha~

As Phaik Ee said earlier she might be arriving at my house around 3.30pm. When I was preparing, I received her SMS saying that she had arrived. I rushed like hell and so pai-seh that her friends and her mum waiting outside >< We introduced each other, Jeffery the driver and Sean who sat next to him, both of them are Phaik Ee’s college mates. Phaik Ee just couldn’t stop chatting, there so many things to talk! Wuahaha~

Finally… We already reached the bottom of Genting Highlands and ready to experience the winding road. Jeffrey is so good in driving manual that made us ‘rollin’ behind, lolz…

Genting Highlands is not as cold as I expected. We were walking towards Arena of Stars from First World. As we passed by The Olive Restaurant, we saw there’re like many people surrounded the entrance and the area was fenced.

We assumed that the ’stars’ will drop by. 5 of us joined the crowd for fun and hoping to witness TVB artists. All we can see were local artists, Miss Astro’s and hosts though =(

Times flied and it’s almost 7pm and we saw none TVB artists, geram! We knew that the red carpet will start very soon but we’re still at behind, lolz… We some more went to have our dinner at food court inside First World.

I called Angie and she said she’s already there and the red carpet was going on already. Argh, can’t see the live one T_T We then quickly dashed to Arena of Stars and saw a sea of people congested at the escalator. Security guards were there to maintain the order and people like us who got the tickets can pass through them. Can’t wait to see them!

We went inside Arena of Stars and found our seats (Gate F, left section, Yellow Zone, row YO and seat nNo. 258). I also saw my colleagues were there too~ The ceremony was started already when we came in, we missed for the beginning T_T

Wow! This was my first time in my life being at the live show with hosts and artists, I’m also able to see how a live show goes :D What we see will be broadcasted live at Astro’s Channel 311, I’m sure my family was watching too :D Well… I still can’t believe that wha’s in front of me was famous TVB artists even though we were quite far away from the stage.

Along the way, we saw many people outside The Olive Restaurant again. This time, we are able to see the real TVB artists walking into the restaurant! Guess that they were having meal and also interviews. Ahh~~~

After that, we went to First World’s casino to find Phaik Ee’s mother who’s still inside while we were in Arena of Stars. I’m not sure about what she’s playing but I knew that it took quite a long time to clear the ‘bet’, lolz. I was so tired and almost dozed off already. Around 2am, we’re finally on our way going back to Kuala Lumpur.

Thanks Jeffery who drove us all the way to Genting Highlands and also all the way back to KL, a billion of gratitude :D Thank for everyone for having an enjoyable day with me. Hopefully I could get more entrance tickets from Astro in the future, next time must bring my family to go already~ ^^

I received SMS from Seen Mun saying that San Loo’s going to have BBQ session cum gathering at his house with 6U classmates few days ago. Of course I will go! That has been already 12 years! 12 years sounds very serious to me as this admits that I’m already getting older =(

The moment has come and I was so excited to meet them. My mind kept thinking how are they going to look like after years. Some of them I meet them few years back then during secondary school. I never thought that San Loo’s house is just a few street away from my house -_- When I reached there, I saw Kok Wei, Eng Keat and San Loo were outside of the house. I was quite excited that time. Since San Loo was the organizer, he’s quite busy with the ‘conversation’ on the phone and wanted to fetch whoever got no transport. I reached there on time, but I already saw the guys and I also saw 2 pretty girls who’s sitting inside, I approached them and wondering who are they, this took me a while then only can figure them out, lolz…

While waiting for everyone to come, Eng Keat and Kok Wei busy setting up the fire for us to BBQ.

Well… It’s getting late, more and more unfamiliar faces came, I managed to ‘identify’ some of them but no all, especially Nicole and Wen Yan, so pai-seh, haha~ Also… Not all of them could recognize me too :P We some more referred to our school and class magazine to see how ‘great’ changes we have gone through.

We chat and chat non-stop, like how we have been so many years, what kind of jobs we are doing currently and recalled the interesting past happenings during primary school. Some girls even helped out frying cold food like fish balls to ’speed up’ the BBQ process coz we all were quite hungry already while waiting for the chicken wings to be cooked.

After meeting them, I felt myself like being young again :D You know? 12 years is like 1/10 of a human’s life and we have gone through 12 years of changes growth. Many of them already went to overseas to work or study and it’s hard to gather together but 1/2 of our ex-classmates attended this event, considered not bad already ^^ We left our contact details in order to keep in touch as well. Last but not least, thanks San Loo for organizing such gathering and hopefully we will have more gatherings in the future ^^
